Dominion Energy Charity Classic 5K

Returning in 2025, the Dominion Energy Charity Classic will host a 5K at Hardywood Brewery – West Creek. The race will take place on Wednesday, September 24 at 6:00pm. 100% of race participant entry fees will go back to participating Birdies for Charity organizations that are selected during the time of registration.

If organizations are interested in participating, they will specify when submitting their Birdies for Charity program application. Registration for non-profits to be a beneficiary of the race will close on Friday, June 27. Organizations that participate in the race must agree to promoting the event and recruiting participants to sign-up on their team. NON-PROFIT INFORMATION

We encourage all organizations to push registration to intended audiences as soon as registration launches in July. 100% of race entry fees will be given back to the organization selected during registration, plus an additional 10% bonus through Birdies for Charity presented by TowneBank. Registrants will have the option to give an additional donation during the time of registration. The top three organizations that have the most individual registrants complete the race will receive a $1,000 bonus from Dominion Energy.

PARTICIPANT INFORMATION

The race will begin at 6 p.m. with the start and finish line at Hardywood Park Craft Brewery – West Creek. As part of the registration fee, participants will receive a t-shirt, medal and one beverage ticket to redeem at Hardywood after the race. Enjoy live music and local food trucks after crossing the finish line. The course will be fairly flat with an elevation gain of just 139 feet. Water will be provided throughout the course. Packet pickup will be the day of the race on September 24, from 4-6 p.m. at Hardywood. Parking will be available right across West Creek Parkway at West Creek Fields. Spectators are allowed and Hardywood will be open to the public for anyone to join once the race has concluded. The race is walker friendly and allows strollers. No dogs permitted.
