BIRDIES FOR CHARITY PRESENTED BY TOWNEBANK
Birdies for Charity presented by TowneBank is a fundraising platform, operating in conjunction with the Dominion Energy Charity Classic, that enables charitable organizations to receive a 10% bonus on charitable contributions. Participating charities will receive all gifts collected on their behalf, minus credit card fees (unless fees are covered by donors at the time of their online donation), plus the additional 10% in three payment distributions throughout the year. All bonus funds will be included in the final payment distribution in December via ACH direct deposit.
The 2024 program will be open from Wednesday, May 1 through Sunday, October 20. Any 501(c)(3) charitable entity in the state of Virginia, is eligible to participate and is required to submit the online registration form. The form is posted below under “Participation Information.” Once organizations have submitted their application, they will receive a confirmation email of approval within one-five business days and will then be able to solicit donations throughout the program timeline. The 2024 Birdies for Charity program will close on Sunday, October 20. Donations will not be accepted after midnight.

PARTICIPATION INFORMATION
Registration is now open for the 2024 Birdies for Charity presented by TowneBank program. Participation in the program is free and any 501(c)(3) charitable organization in the state of Virginia can participate. Organizations will need to complete the online application below. The application requires organizations to upload their most up-to-date IRS Determination Letter, Form W9 and banking information for ACH direct deposit. Returning organizations must re-register.
